The project involved the rapid deployment of five independent temporary roof structures to facilitate major roofing works for the Highview Group.

Designed Scaffolds: every structure was erected based on bespoke scaffold designs. These Designs ensured that the temporary coverings could withstand local weather conditions while providing a completely dry environment for the roofing teams to work uninterrupted.
Encapsulation: Fire retardant sheeting was utilised to provide weatherproofing to all five units, ensuring protection for the exposed building envelopes.

Navigating Constraints

Executing five large-scale roof installs simultaneously presents a unique set of logistical hurdles:

Tight Programme: The Highview Group maintained a rigorous schedule to meet their client’s deadlines. We had a narrow window to get all five structures "up and over" to allow the roofing contractors to begin their phase without delay.
Residential Sensitivity: The works took place in a live environment, working directly around people’s homes. This required meticulous planning to manage noise, maintain privacy for residents, and ensure that communal access points and driveways remained unobstructed.

My first opinion of KAS Scaffolding when they arrived onsite was how professional they looked all in the same branded uniform & smart which isn’t something you see to much with other scaffold companies.

I had KAS Scaffolding on a project that consisted of 22no Apartments and a commercial unit.

Before, during and after scaffolding works KAS were always easy to work with.

Works were undertaken smoothly and efficiently with attention to detail i.e. clipping all Scaff boards, aesthetically pleasing scaffold, labour well presented with critical dates always met.

From remote link regarding Handovers, inspections, labour skill cards etc, to directors/C.M visiting site to accommodate various issues I have found KAS to be a good sub-contractor and would always recommend.
