Project
KAS Scaffolding Ltd was appointed to design, supply, and erect comprehensive access scaffolding for the Daniel House refurbishment at Stoke Newington School. The scope required a reliable and thorough scaffolding package to safely facilitate both internal works and external envelope upgrades. Built entirely in strict compliance with NASC TG20 standards, the scaffolding provided secure, multi-level access for various trades across the site. The scaffolding package was delivered within a strict, time-critical window spanning from May to August 2026
A primary logistical hurdle for the scaffolding team was the necessity for phased, multi-visit execution. The scaffolding structure could not be erected or dismantled in a single continuous phase, requiring KAS Scaffolding to continually adapt, alter, and strike specific elevations to accommodate the shifting access needs of other trades on-site.
By engineering a fully NASC TG20 compliant scaffolding solution, KAS Scaffolding guaranteed maximum structural integrity and regulatory adherence across the entire footprint. The access designs were supported by rigorous, task-specific risk assessments and method statements that were approved prior to any tubes hitting the ground. This approach ensured safe, uninterrupted access provision while maintaining strict compliance with CDM regulations.
