Garland Park is a premier residential development situated in the heart of the Kent Weald. As a flagship project for the award-winning Esquire Developments, it comprises a high-specification collection of 87 homes. A central feature of the project is The Crescent Collection, a series of 12 luxury four-storey townhouses that required complex, large-scale scaffolding to facilitate their unique architectural profile.
Multi-Phase Coverage: We provided comprehensive scaffolding solutions the project, supporting the construction of various two-to-five-bedroom luxury homes.
The Crescent Collection: This specialized phase required high-level access for four-storey structures, featuring intricate brickwork, contemporary detailing, and the installation of Juliet balconies.
Loading Bays & Access: To support the rapid pace of a flagship new build, we installed heavy-duty loading bays across the site to facilitate the seamless movement of superior building materials and skilled trades.
Building "the dream" in a rural setting like the Kent Weald brings specific logistical and quality-control pressures.
Tight Site & Multiple Constraints: While the setting is expansive, the actual build footprints for the Crescent townhouses were tight. Managing scaffolding for 12 adjacent, high-rise units required meticulous planning to ensure trades had enough room to work without encroaching on neighboring plots.
Live Operational Site: As homes in Phase 1 began to be reserved and occupied, the site transitioned into a semi-live environment. This necessitated strict adherence to safety protocols to ensure construction remained invisible and safe for prospective buyers visiting the sales suite.
Elite Quality Standards: Esquire Developments is famous for "meticulous attention to detail." The scaffolding had to be perfectly level and structurally adaptable to allow for the precision installation of high-end finishes, quartz worktops (via hoist access), and bi-folding doors.
Our approach was tailored to match the "luxury and stylish" ethos of the Garland Park development.
Design Collaboration: We worked in close partnership with the Esquire technical team from the outset. By integrating our scaffold designs with the architectural plans for the Crescent Collection, we ensured that the scaffolds without needing constant adaptations.
Accurate Scheduled Deliveries: Logistics in the Kent countryside can be tricky. We utilized a "Just-In-Time" delivery model, ensuring that scaffold components arrived in sync with the build schedule. This kept the site clear of clutter, maintaining the "premium feel" of the development for visiting clients.
Expertise in Luxury Builds: We deployed a dedicated team of scaffolders who specialize in high-spec new builds. Their ability to provide clean, safe, and highly functional work platforms allowed the site’s skilled craftsmen to focus on delivering the "exceptional" finish that the Crescent Collection is known for.
